MedLabs Consultancy Group (MedLabs) is a Jordanian company created in 1993 that has brought together experts in the field of laboratory medicine and laboratory management to create the region's fastest growing network of stand-alone, hospital and clinics private medical laboratories. MedLabs has its corporate office in Amman, Jordan where a team of dedicated management staff ensures the efficient running of the company and alignment of all its services in the region.

MedLabs Consultancy Group aims to provide all physicians and their patients in the Middle East and Arabian Gulf access to exemplary medical laboratory services.

Clinical & Surgical Pathology:

MedLabs offers a wide range of pathology testing including hematology, biochemistry, serology, molecular biology & genetics, immunology, endocrinology, oncology, virology, microbiology, cytology and histopathology. In recent years, the addition of cutting edge science in laboratory science has included RT PCR, gene sequencing, pre-implantation genetics (PGD), cytogenetics, flow cytometry, FISH technique, neo-natal screens and immunocytochemistry (ICC).

To provide these tests at the highest quality, MedLabs employs more than 230 professionals including consultants, lab directors, medical technologists and administrative staff, all holding high qualifications in their fields (8 MDs, 5 PhDs, 15 MScs. and MBAs, and over 160 BScs.).

Regional Referral Services:

MedLabs boasts a regional reference laboratory in Jordan that offers an extensive range of tests in all sub-specialties of clinical and surgical pathology. This reference laboratory receives daily shipments of samples from over 100 laboratories locally and regionally including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, the UAE and Syria.

Management & Consultancy:

With over 15 years of experience, the MedLabs Consultancy Group has become a well known and respected establishment in the region. MedLabs has 26 stand-alone and hospital laboratories in Jordan and since 1993, has been responsible for setting up and managing more than 40 new laboratories both in Jordan and the region in addition to the creation of an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) centre and a Physiotherapy centre. From design of lab layout and staff training, to daily operations management, MedLabs has specialized in laboratory management consulting and is ISO 9001/2000 certified for the management of medical laboratories.

MedLabs was also the first laboratory in Jordan and the Middle East to be awarded the European ISO 15189 Laboratory Accreditation which ensures the highest standards of quality, technical competence and reliable results.
